Dissemination

Content creation and dissemination are the crux of what we do at the TPMH. We do this in a variety of ways, from blog posts to social media posts. Dissemination is a key way to keep the lines of science communication open.

Knowledge Translation

Whether it be through discussions, workshops, or seminars, the ultimate goal of the TPMH is to translate knowledge not just about specific areas, but about how to have a translational-focused lifestyle.

Networking

It is not possible to build diverse partnerships without networking. We host opportunities for members to get to know each other in addition to actively promoting ourselves at various events. 

What Can the TPMH Offer You?

The TPMH accepts all translational frameworks as valid as long as they are appropriately applied. These include precision / personalized medicine, bench-to-bedside, dissemination and implementation, prevention science, and research-to-policy. All of these are under the "research-to-practice" umbrella and have the same goal of closing the "research-to-practice" gap.

There are two ways that you can utilize the TPMH: 

1) Become an active member and help with dissemination, knowledge translation, and networking activities. Involvement is completely dictated by your and your schedule.

2) Recruit our efforts and specialities. We would love to come speak at your class on the basics of translational science and science communication, lead a hands-on workshop on content creation and dissemination, speak at your event about specific details of translational science (i.e., apply it to the needs of your event), and more!
